Creativity Presentation -
Process -
So I Moved from digital forensics as I did not enjoy it and i felt it was too heavily based around maths. so I moved into this digital media class the week of the midterm break and therefore missed out on this. I Seen other people's presentations and i gathered information from them as i asked them could i see what i missed out on and i got a fair idea of how the presentation and research worked. I figured out that the presentation was on Web design, gaming, hacking, animation and stuff like that. I would have opted for gaming as I love to play xbox with my friends and have major interests in the gaming area. And to be honest gaming is probably the reason I picked this course just because of the similarities and the modules that we cover seem to have a lot in common and thats why i thought this course would be the best for me and the most suitable for me.
Presentation -
In my presentation i would have explained what PUBG is. A little bit about in-game experiences and the overall experience of playing the game whether it is on your own or with 3 other friends. PUBG is a battle royale survivor game where you can play in solo, duo or squad mode with your friends. So once you get into the game you will be dropped from an airplane and you have to land where you think will give you the best loot to get you going and to give you an advantage against the other squads that you have to take out to win the game. anyways for 3 minutes you can loot up which means you can look for guns ammo armour and boosters and first aid kits that will slowly heal you if did get shot by an enemy team. Every 2 mins after that a storm comes in and makes the circle (storm) smaller and smaller so therefore the distance between you and your enemy gets a lot smaller so further down the line you have to get into a fight with an enemy team and that you cannot hide like a girl the whole game because you don't wanna die. if you do win the game you get xp and match credits that allow you to open special crates and get camos and warpaint for your guns and alos decorate the cars that are in the game to help you get to your destination quicker.

Presentation 2 - Culture
Process - For this i was working with Luke Jennings. We were given the subjects "memes" to talk about and explain. For this me and luke decided that one person does a write up and explains what a meme is, Where it came from etc.. and Luke done just that. For my side of the work I done not really any typing but created majority of the memes that we used in our presentation. I Decided to pick memes up that surrounded humour that everyone could understand and that everyone one laugh at when they seen it. I tried to use iconic actors/characters in a certain show with a funny text surrounding it. For example I used a south park character that wasnt happy with something and then added the text "when your internet is shit" just for some light humour that would put a smile on peoples faces as they would understand the meaning
Purpose - On the day of our presentation me and luke forgot to link our presentation together as you can only have one google slides account signed in on one device at the time. But once we got it sorted we went up and delivered our piece of work and suprisingly I wasn't nervous talking in front of a full class. Memes and social media are perfect for each other.Both concepts are about connecting with people online. While social media is a platform for communication, memes are a way of expressing a relevant idea. A meme is an image or video that represents the thoughts and feelings of a specific audience.Most memes are captioned photos intended to elicit humor. However, there are many viral video memes that have a humour and a funny side to it but understanding of everyday life that people will understand once they see it make it too spread like wildfire and become hugely viral on whatever social media platform it was showcased on.
Looking back -
Looking back I actually quite enjoyed writing up about something I have been interested in since I was young. I would really like to do this again whether it be on my own or someone else that has similar interests to me.
Assignment 3 - The Video
Process -
I missed out on the video but i spoke to my classmates and got an idea of what it was about. I would have liked to have built a map of PUBG. Presentation - I did not do my presentation but if i did then i would than done it on pubg. I would have explained pubg from small detail to big using pictures and videos.
Looking back - looking back i think i done well in explaining PUBG on this portfolio so therefore using pictures and video i would like to think i would have done well in my presentation because of my knowledge on what I would have been presenting.
Today was my first day in the class and i quite enjoyed it. The people were really nice and helpful. Also we use macs in this class and I never really used one before as i only use windows. So they helped me a lot learning the basics of using a MAC.
A Little bit about me and why i chose this course - Hi there my name is Jordan and i'm from blanchardstown. My main hobbies are, having fun with friends and playing xbox. My favourite games on xbox to play are - PUBG, FIFA, GTA. These are the main three games and theres a few other shit knockoffs hahaha. But FIFA is my main favourite game as i can play it for hours on hours by myself or with others or even by myself whilst just talking to others that's usually just football related. I also play GTA a lot because your in a free-roam therefore meaning you can do what you want to do in regards of robbing banks just driving about looking at the scenery racing against others or even in an all out war with other people in the lobby. You can also get into clan wars which means you and your buddies get into a war with another clan to just be the kings of the lobby or even just to claim the ALPHA CLAN of the server.
The Reason I chose this course is because I felt like it suited me more bar the visual creativity as I have always found art boring as fuck lol. Other than that i find the web development and this course the most interesting as there the most tech related and the most fun to learn from and to be honest i think the probably the courses that will land you the best job once you get your degree. anyways i hoped you enjoyed viewing my average af webpage and yeah.... peace.
